The Greek Marble

The seminar “Greek Marble” was an initiative of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture aimed at highlighting Greek marble. A natural, timeless material intrinsically connected to the place where it is quarried, marble impresses with the variety of scales at which it can be applied, as well as with the way it transforms the character of the works in which it is used. Through conversations with distinguished guests from the fields of architecture, art, and design, the seminar explored ways, methods, and directions regarding the present and future of this material, which has a long historical legacy.
The seminar was organized into the following sessions:

The seminar is part of a series of events focused on promoting and highlighting Greek marble, organized by the Association of Marble Enterprises of Macedonia – Thrace, with the support of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture.
