Art by Architects 3

Following the two previous successful exhibitions in 2016 and 2019, the Hellenic Institute of Architecture inaugurated the 3rd Exhibition of Art by Greek architects on Saturday, April 20th at 7:00 p.m., at atelier kykladon (8 Kykladon Street, Kypseli). All the works in the exhibition had been donated by the architects and their close associates, with the proceeds from their sale intended to support the Hellenic Institute of Architecture financially.
The exhibition featured 40 paintings and constructions by 21 architects. The event was curated by architects Theodora Alexandri, Elias Constantopoulos and Dionisis Sotovikis.

As well as visual artists VANA XENOU and ILIAS PAPAILIAKIS.
The exhibition was held at the gallery space located at 8 Kykladon Street in Kypseli, formerly the residence and studio of sculptor Ioanna Spiteri. This important building was designed in 1955 by Aristomenis Provelengios, renovated in 2009 by Dionisis Sotovikis, and stands as an outstanding example of modern Greek architecture.
The exhibition remained open to the public on Sunday, April 21, and over the weekend of April 27-28, from 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The photographing and subsequent editing of works by Konstantinos Kosmas, Elias Constantopoulos, Vassilis Bogakos, Ilias Papailiakis, Galateia Patsouri, Iakovos Rigos, and Dimitris Philippidis was carried out by Babis Louizidis and Katerina Glinou as a contribution to the Hellenic Institute of Architecture (HIA).
The photographing of the installation work by Marianna Xyntaraki and Leda Voutsina was done by Elli Vassalou.
