Light Up

The Hellenic Institute of Architecture (H.I.A.) and the Postgraduate Program in “Lighting Design” of the School of Applied Arts and Sustainable Design at the Hellenic Open University (H.O.U.) are announcing a nationwide student competition for the design of an original lighting fixture. The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students currently enrolled in Higher Education Institutions in Greece.

The winning proposals, along with all submissions, will be presented in an exhibition and published in the accompanying catalog. As part of the competition, an evening event will also be held, featuring discussions between architects and lighting designers on lighting design and the effects of light on humans, culture, and science.
