Light Up: Extension of the submission deadline

The Hellenic Institute of Architecture (H.I.A.) and the Postgraduate Program “Lighting Design” of the School of Applied Arts and Sustainable Design at the Hellenic Open University (H.O.U.) are announcing a nationwide student competition for the design of an original lighting fixture. The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students currently enrolled in Higher Education Institutions in Greece.

The awarded proposals, along with all submitted entries, will be presented in an exhibition and published in an accompanying catalog.
As part of the competition, an evening event will be held featuring discussions between architects and lighting designers, focusing on lighting design, the impact of light on humans, culture, and science.

26.02.2023 – Deadline for submitting questions to info@heliarch.gr
7.03.2023 – Publication of answers on www.eia.gr
23.04.2023 – Deadline for submission of entries

1st Prize: 1000€
2nd Prize: 600€
3rd Prize: 400€
