The Hellenic Institute of Architecture, as part of its activities to promote contemporary Greek architecture, announced a call for submissions for the selection of works for the 11th Biennale of Young Greek Architects. The aim of the Biennale events, organized by the Institute every two years, is to gather a representative sample of the activities of young architects, to exhibit their works, to highlight emerging creators, and to exchange views regarding the development of architectural thought and the production of architectural work in Greece today. The exhibition of the works of the 11th Biennale was initially presented at the Tellogleio Foundation for Arts in Thessaloniki, co-organized with the Department of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), from December 16, 2023, to January 14, 2024, alongside the publication of the related catalogue. Subsequently, with the support of the Organization of Culture, Sports, and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA), the exhibition was hosted at the cultural center “Melina” from September 5 to September 27, 2024. Finally, in collaboration with the Association of Architects of Larissa and the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa – G. I. Katsigras Museum, the awarded works and all submissions will be presented in the welcoming space of the gallery from October 5 to October 18, 2024.
The members of the jury, who thoroughly reviewed the 165 projects submitted to the competition and selected 42 of them for distinctions, were:

- Anastasios Tellios – Professor, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
- Konstantinos Moraitis – Emeritus Professor, National Technical University of Athens
- Morpho Papanikolaou – Architect, I.U.A.V.
- Dimitris Thomopoulos – Associate Professor, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
