Kokkinou – Kourkoulas Architects and Associates

The magazine ek organised an event for architects Maria Kokkinou and Andreas Kourkoulas at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in December 2024, under the auspices of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture.

Maria Kokkinou and Andreas Kourkoulas, who founded the architectural firm Kokkinou-Kourkoulas in 1987, are undoubtedly among the most important architects of their generation, with extensive work across almost all categories and scales of buildings. Throughout their creative journey, their widely published and acclaimed work has adorned the urban and suburban landscape with exceptional public and private spaces.

With a dynamic career spanning over 35 years, the firm Kokkinou & Kourkoulas Architects and Associates continues to contribute to contemporary architectural reality with the high quality of their projects.
