Coating Forum 2023

The Coating Forum 2023 was the premier event for the paint and building materials industry in Greece and took place on November 3, 2023, at the Athens Concert Hall (Nikos Skalkottas Hall).

In recent years, sciences, technology, policies of the involved parties, as well as internal and external conditions, have been rapidly changing. Coating Forum 2023 hosts speakers who shape these changes, giving all of us the opportunity not only to become aware of these transformations but, most importantly, through discussions and meetings, to actively participate in them.

The title of Coating Forum 2023 was “Exploring the way, unlocking the potential from Industry 4.0 to Construction 5.0.”

The thematic sections of the conference were as follows:

–  Business Cases: The future of the industry through the eyes of businesses. Presentations by entrepreneurs about their strategy in the paint and construction materials industry.

– Science today Coatings Tomorrow: The continuous evolution of materials in the paint and construction materials sector and the crucial role of science in this process.
– Investing in the Future – Building a Skilled and Diverse Workforce: The leading role of human resources in the industry’s future and ensuring its existence and continuity.

– From Industry 4.0 to Construction 5.0: Presentation of the 5th Industrial Revolution in construction, which repositions humans at the center of processes.

– Coating Connect – Talks on the Intersection of Architecture and Coatings: New typologies for new desires, architecture, aesthetics and experience, sustainability and green architecture, cultural and multicultural sensitivity.

At Coating Forum, for the first time, the Coating Connect Talks on the Intersection of Architecture and Coatings took place, in collaboration with Vasilis Bartzokas, CEO of Design Ambassador and the Archisearch platform. Coating Connect represented the architectural segment of the Coating Forum 2023 conference. Within its framework, leading architects discussed the buildings of tomorrow, focusing on the needs they serve and the use of coatings.

The event was held under the auspices of the Hellenic Institute of Architecture.
